Miscarriage Poems - For My Baby Who Couldn't Stay
For My Baby Who Couldn't Stay
I only met you in my dreams,
But what dreams they were...
We danced and sang and laughed till we cried,
I only saw you through my eyes,
But how you made them shine....
With tears and laughter and hope and fear.
You were only loved by two people,
But that love could hold up the world,
As only love can be that strong.
You were never here,
But you will never be far away,
In my heart, in my dreams, forever in my love.
