Complete Miscarriage
Sometimes during a routine ultrasound scan it will be discovered that a pregnant woman has suffered a complete miscarriage.
A complete miscarriage means that the baby has been lost and the uterus is empty. The cervix will be found to have closed and pregnancy symptoms may have ended suddenly.
