Miscarriage Poems - Lives Like Lightning
This miscarriage poem was sent to us by Samantha who wrote it for her angel baby.
Lives Like Lightning
Your life was like lightning;
Sudden, bright, beautiful.
A light in the dark night.
Appearing on my horizon,
And changing all in sight.
I could not touch you,
And you could not stay.
It broke my heart to see you go away.
Never can I forget your brilliance;
No other could ever replace.
So precious you are to me,
Though I never saw your face.
After you disappeared the world got so dark.
And seems there's no cure for the pain,
Deep inside my heart.
I have nothing left from you,
Only questions of why.
For sometimes lives like lightning
Happen right before your eyes.
